Tertiary Institutions were therefore required to attract and retain highly skilled and internationally marketable employees to satisfy the needs of both there national and international consumers. A plethora of literature is available on organizational commitment and job satisfaction in various industries and sectors. This is even true for academic employees at tertiary institutions bit not the case for non-academic or faculty support employees. Further to this, anecdotal evidence suggests that non-academic employees were exited these institutions at an alarming rate in search of improved remuneration.
