These waste cause serious health hazards to human and aquatic lives of adjacent area as well as overall Dhaka City. As a result, shifting of these tannery units are demanded by local people, different social and environmental movement body, government, NGOs, Dhaka WASA and different international organizations particularly UNIDO. After relocation of the tanneries, this area will certainly create a huge planning opportunity to execute.
